Sounds like a useful product but why is it considered a kitchen and dining product?

The retailer my order came from was very punctual & highly recommend them. The Oster dog nail grinder I don’t know yet so far my dog is afraid of it & she hurt her paw chasing a squirrel so haven’t forced her yet but I do like it & hope to use it often.

I suppose if it spun any faster or if the grit was any more coarse I would burn thru my doxies toenails too fast, but using this will take a little longer than expected to get proficient. The long hair between her toes is tough to deal with, so am considering clipping it back before getting her way-long nails back under control. I won’t return it, but it will take some practice before I’m pleased with the purchase. Not sure about how to change heads, or what they do: the directions are far too simplistic and not very instructional. But, it ain’t rocket science, either. 3 trims at the fluff n’pup will pay for this tool, so I would recommend it. DOES beat the heck out of worrying that a nail clipper will go too close to the quick.

When I received the product, I was surprised there was a warning in the cord ( of all things!) stating the cord contained lead and you should wash your hands after use. Don’t you think, after all these years, a cord could be made without lead. Big surprise! It’s made in China. I sent it back. What a big disappointment. When I e-mailed Oster about my complaint, they e-mailed back telling me to contact someone else. What’s in a name anymore when it comes to trust?!

This works but is a bit under powered making the process take longer that the dog or I would like.
