This product DOES start working within the 30 minutes to an hour that it promises HOWEVER, keep in mind that this product is to kill ONLY adult fleas and should be used in conjunction with other preventative remedies. We have our dog on Program flea control to kill eggs but our yard needs to be sprayed as well in order for these to truly work as they were made to. It kills the ones on the dog itself and perhaps the ones in your house but not ALL the fleas. You will need to give this to you dog atleast twice depending on the infestation

My yellow lab/golden retriever is crazy allergic to fleas, so I have to have something very fast acting to make sure that I can get her back on track quickly. I keep Capstar on hand so that I can quickly eliminate fleas that she picks up after a jaunt to a campground, lake, or while staying with mom while I’m away. (She lives on a greenbelt and the deer, raccoons, opossums, etc. are constantly bringing fleas into her yard.) I just give each of my dogs a Capstar before we head back home, and in that way, prevent my own house/yard from becoming infested. I used to use this in conjunction with Frontline, but recently it seems that the fleas have adapted and the Frontline isn’t able to keep them at bay. I now use Capstar in conjunction with Program, and it works great. I have been very fortunate in that neither or my dogs have had any kind of negative reaction.

I have used Capstar for years. They do get rid of the fleas. I usually give my dogs one and the next day I follow up with a pill that keeps fleas away for a month.
You do not need a presciption for Capstar but you do for the pill that lasts a month. Buying Capstar from this website was a lot cheaper than purchasing them from the vet.

I have several dogs. We had a huge flea flare and nothing was working. This stuff is fabulous. Gave each dog a pill and within 30 minutes the fleas were scrambling to get off the dogs. Rather funny to watch as the fleas stagger from near the skin to the outside of the fur. Too late, you’re dead!

these stupid pills only worked for like 2 days. i wouldnt reccommend anybody buy them unless you are rich enough to be able to give the pills daily to your pets. wish i never bought them cause i got 2 boxes for nothing
