THESE BRUSHES ARE WELL WORTH THE INVESTMENT. THEY COME IN HANDY FOR CLEANING THE FOUNTAIN THOROUGHLY AND ALSO CAN BE USED FOR OTHER CLEANING JOBS. I USE HOT WATER AND A SMALL AMOUNT OF BLEACH FOR CLEANING THE SLIM THAT GETS ON THE FOUNTAIN ABOUT ONCE OR TWICE A WEEK. AND RINSE RINSE RINSE. I KNOW THAT I AM PROVIDING A CLEAN FOUNTAIN FOR MY DEVOTED PETS AND THEY HAVE ENOUGH WATER NICE AND COLD FOR THE DAY.SURE YOU CAN CLEAN THE FOUNTAIN WITHOUT THESE HANDY BRUSHES BUT THESE MAKE MY LIFE EASIER FOR SURE. Don’t waste your money on this it does not reach the difficult areas to clean at all!! My animals deserve better than half clean. You could do better with a toothbrush by bending the neck of it to clean difficult areas to reach. Sorry I wasted my money on it!!!!

Great brushes for cleaing the Drinkwell Fountain! Although I cleaned mine every week the best I could with a cloth and soap and water, my fountain eventually stopped working due to black gunk clogging the narrow hole that drew water from the reservoir. The long narrow brush was perfect for cleaning it out and my fountain works like brand new now! The other brushes are very useful for cleaning the reservoir and the motor also. I highly recommend getting these brushes!

This set of brushes is very nice, but I haven’t really even been using them since my Drinkwell seems to get clean with bleach water and a rag. They are very nice though and maybe I should use them to reach into those small crevices now and then.

My kitties love their drinkwell fountain and this cleaning kit makes my job (once a week) much easier! If you bought the fountain then this is a must have for cleaning. A+
